What tablet do you use?
I use a Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch.
What program do you use?
Adobe Photoshop CS4.
What brushes do you use?
I use a variety of brushes. Some are custom downloaded and some are PS's brush presets. Examples of the latter are the dry media brushes, particularly the 36px soft pastel brush; I also like the chalk brush, soft sponge brush, etc.
Are you open for requests?
Given my inability to be very productive, my limited free time, and energy, requests are currently closed. Check out my journal to see if I'm not, though. If you're extra nice, maybe you can get one, if you're willing to wait.

Reading: The Great Gatsby

I just realized I haven't posted a journal in a while. So hi!

And as for the people I owe, please patiently wait for your drawing because I have an ongoing art block. Huhu. I feel empty most days, but maybe it's just the summer draining all my creative energy. I can't stand the heat. Ugh.

I'm also thinking of selling stuff, like prints, cases, calendars, mugs, stickers, etc. but I don't feel creative enough to do that yet. Maybe I'll start selling next year. I've searched for sites that sell them cheaper than society6...if it won't happen next year, then it'll probably happen when I'm 18. Which is two years from now. I'm gonna stock up on art skills in the mean time. Hehe.

And don't spoil me with The Great Gatsby ok? I can't even read properly with this erratic weather. It's hot in the morning and afternoon and then it rains for a bit and then proceeds on being Satan's own barbecue pit. And then to make things worse my cough returned. I almost went in for an x-ray but good thing the doctor said not to. My lungs are okay. Yay!

Welcome to dA!

Just draw what you feel like drawing.

That was pretty vague. If you don't have like, no idea what to draw at all, you can try drawing animals, your hands, favourite characters--just basically anything that pleases your eyes. And when you draw, just have fun. If you have an artist block coming on (when you just can't function artistically), breathe deep breaths, relax, and take a break. Get inspired. So then you can draw something. Watch your favourite anime, etc. When I get art blocks I usually watch my favourite movies, listen to music, or read my favourite book. After you successfully escape your art block, draw like there's no tomorrow. It's also nice to pay attention to detail. If you're looking to really learn and improve your art, study your favourite artists' artwork. Their drawings, color usage, etc. Just really look at every detail in an artwork. And of course, study real life: the human figure, the environment, etc.
This is one big rumble of words, but I hope this helps.
